SEO -  General Information

In the early stage of the internet there were only a few websites were on the internet. It was not difficult to find out a particular site in that point of time. When the number of sites on the internet increased, it became very difficult to find a site, unless and until the entire URL was typed.
The number of web pages has been constantly increasing day by day, making more difficult to find a particular page on the internet. Notwithstanding the contents of the site and website design, it has become more and more complicated to find your business in the search engine results. In this context the development of the search engine optimization is indispensible.
The concept of search engine optimization is nothing but the process of designing a website to best suit the search algorithm which is used by most of the popular search engines. but there is no guarantee can be provided that SEO is 100% good working, since the search engines tend to change their algorithms (the way of searching contents) often to improvise the results. But it is undeniable fact that SEO provides enough edge over your competitors to improve your site visibility in the cyber space.
In the modern internet marketing, the process of SEO has got its own merit to be a successful way of improving your online business. When your website visibility is on high, presumably the web traffic of your site will improve, that will be directly proportional on the improvement of product sales and profit.

Effective SEO depends on various strategies such as keyword analysis, competitor analysis, webpage design, keyword rich content of the site, keyword location, Meta tags, content management, number of pages of the website, etc.

The other important factor in the search engine optimization is the keywords calculation. Stuffing the keywords in a single page will not do any good job for you. The normal range of keyword density is 5 to 7% but it is not advisable to go beyond 8% which is considered to be counterproductive.
